Kiwi Wealth was a Wellington based KiwiSaver and managed fund provider, once owned by Kiwibank and NZ Post. Fisher Funds bought the whole business in November 2022 for about 310 million dollars. Kiwi Wealth Limited itself has since been renamed Fisher Funds Wealth Limited, confirmed on the FMA's own register.
From 6 March 2024, the Kiwi Wealth KiwiSaver Scheme became the Fisher Funds KiwiSaver Plan, run by Fisher Funds Management Limited. Kiwi Wealth Managed Funds became Fisher Funds Investment Funds and stopped taking new clients, existing investors were pointed to the separate Fisher Funds Managed Funds instead. The old Kiwi Wealth Super Scheme was wound up on 31 December 2023.
There is no live Kiwi Wealth product to join today, its old website now redirects straight to Fisher Funds. Readers who want current KiwiSaver fees or fund details should look at Fisher Funds directly rather than treat Kiwi Wealth as an open, standalone provider.
