Moneta Markets started in 2020 inside Australia's Vantage Group. It broke away and became independent in 2022. In 2025, its UK arm bought VIBHS Financial Ltd, a firm the FCA had licensed since 2014, and renamed it Moneta Markets Capital Ltd. That FCA license only covers UK clients.
Most traders open a Direct STP, Prime ECN, or Ultra ECN account. Spreads start at 1.2 pips on Direct STP with no commission, or from 0.0 pips on the ECN accounts plus a small commission.
