Trive began as GKFX, a UK broker the FCA first authorized in 2010. In 2022 Turkey's Global Kapital Group transferred GKFX to an Amsterdam based company, and the brand became Trive in 2023. The retail site trive.com now runs through Trive Financial Services Europe Limited in Malta.
Trive offers forex, indices, commodities, and stock CFDs on MT4, MT5, TradingView, and its own Trive Trader app. Classic, Prime, and Prime Plus accounts cap retail leverage at 1:30, with spreads from 0.8 to 0.1 pips by tier. South Africa clients can join a cashback program paying $1 per FX or gold lot.
The group has been shedding licenses. The FCA fully cancelled Trive Financial Services UK Limited's authorization on 28 January 2026, and ASIC cancelled the Australian license effective 1 July 2026, though Trive's own regulations page still listed it as active when checked. By its own risk warning, well over half of retail clients lose money trading its CFDs.
