About FXPrimus

FXPrimus is the trading name of Primus Global Ltd, a Cyprus firm with CySEC licence 261/14, plus a Vanuatu entity under VFSC licence 14595. It has run since 2009 and offers MT4, MT5, cTrader, and WebTrader. In 2015, ASIC made the group stop targeting Australian investors and drop false ASIC claims from its sites.

FXPrimus once held a South African FSCA licence, but it lapsed in January 2022, so those clients now deal with the Vanuatu entity instead. Malaysia's Securities Commission lists FXPrimus on its investor alert list. Minimum deposit starts near $15, with spreads from 1.5 pips, or 0.0 pips plus a $5 commission on Primus Zero.

Watch out for clone scams too. South Africa's FSCA warned about a fake FXPrimus copycat in November 2024, separate from the real firm's record. User reviews on independent sites skew heavily negative, often citing withdrawal and support complaints. Treat leverage above 1:30 as offshore only.
