About XTB

XTB started in Warsaw in 2002. Jakub Zablocki built the firm from a small brokerage into one of the biggest listed CFD and forex brokers in the world. XTB shares have traded on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2016, and the company now serves more than two million clients across many countries.

Traders use XTB only through its own xStation 5 platform. There is no MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or cTrader option. The standard account has no minimum deposit, and EUR/USD spreads run near 0.9 pips with no added commission. Leverage is capped at 1:30 in the UK and EU, but reaches 1:500 via XTB International in Belize.

XTB's record has real problems. Poland's KNF fined the firm 9.9 million zloty in 2018 and a record 20 million zloty in 2026 for misleading clients and hidden conflicts of interest. France's AMF added a 300,000 euro fine in 2021, and Brazil's regulator ordered XTB to stop soliciting clients there in 2023. In 2026, Trustpilot flagged XTB's page and removed fake reviews.
