Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Genuine CySEC licence covers EU retail clients under MiFID rules
  • Standard, Cent, and Micro accounts all need no minimum deposit
  • Offers real MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, not just a closed app
  • Runs ASIC, FSCA, and FSC regulated entities alongside its Cyprus arm
  • XS Trading Miles turns trading volume into redeemable cash rewards

Cons

  • Most clients outside the EU likely join through a lighter regulated entity
  • Its Cyprus entity only started trading as XS Markets in 2022
  • Leverage and protections change a lot depending on which entity signs you up
  • Ten plus group entities make it hard to know which rules apply to you
About XS.com

XS.com is the trading brand of XS Group, run through separate companies in different regions. Its Cyprus entity, XS Markets Ltd, was previously named RockFrost Ltd before receiving CySEC licence 412/22 in 2022. Other group firms hold licences in Seychelles, Australia, South Africa, Mauritius, Labuan, and the UAE.

The Standard account needs no minimum deposit and averages a 1.1 point EUR/USD spread on MetaTrader 4 or 5, with a Copy Pro account priced from 0.7 points. XS also runs a loyalty scheme called XS Trading Miles, which turns trading volume into redeemable cash instead of a deposit match bonus.

EU clients trade through the CySEC entity under MiFID rules, while clients from most other regions use the Seychelles firm or another offshore company with lighter oversight and higher leverage limits. XS does not serve the United States, Iran, or North Korea. Because protection differs so much by entity, check exactly which XS company signs you up before you deposit.
