Pros & Cons

Pros

  • CySEC's own register clearly documents the exact 2013 to 2014 license dates
  • No fine, client fund complaint, or fraud case turned up in this research
  • It once held a real, verifiable Cyprus investment firm license, not a fake one
  • Its planned platforms, cTrader and MetaTrader 4, were genuine industry tools

Cons

  • Its only known license lapsed in 2014 after Trendoks never activated it
  • No working website exists today, so current terms cannot be checked
  • Very little independent coverage exists beyond a few 2013 and 2014 reports
  • No evidence found that Trendoks held a license anywhere outside Cyprus
  • Anyone using the Trendoks name today cannot be confirmed as regulated
About Trendoks

Trendoks was a small forex broker with roots in New Zealand and Russia. Trade press from 2013 says it planned to offer trading on the cTrader and MetaTrader 4 platforms. To reach clients in the European Union, Trendoks Ltd applied for a license in Cyprus and planned a Limassol office.

CySEC, the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, granted Trendoks Ltd a Cyprus Investment Firm license on 2 September 2013, under number 212/13. CySEC's own register shows this lapsed on 3 September 2014 because Trendoks never used it within twelve months. This was an automatic lapse, not a published fine or fraud case, but it ended Trendoks' right to serve EU clients.

Trendoks has no working website today, and no other regulator's public register lists the firm. Confirmed facts beyond the CySEC filing and a few 2013 and 2014 trade press reports are thin. Treat Trendoks as a closed, unregulated name from over a decade ago, not a broker to trust with money now.
