Tradition is the trading name of Compagnie Financière Tradition, a Swiss group registered in Lausanne since 1959. Its parent lists shares on the SIX Swiss Exchange, employs over two thousand five hundred staff in more than thirty countries, and posted 2025 revenue above one billion Swiss francs.
Tradition works as an interdealer broker. It links banks, funds and other institutions across foreign exchange, interest rates, credit, equities, energy and commodities. There is no retail account, deposit page or leverage table, since it only serves professional and institutional clients.
Its units carry real licences. Tradition UK Limited is authorised by the FCA, a Geneva branch by FINMA, and Tradition SEF LLC by the CFTC in the United States. In 2024 the CFTC fined Tradition SEF LLC 875,000 dollars for weak system safeguards, and FINRA lists 32 disclosed events for its US arm.
