About Tradier Brokerage

Tradier was founded in 2012 by Dan Raju and a small team who had worked at TradeKing. Its broker dealer, Tradier Brokerage, Inc., has been FINRA registered since 2001 under an older corporate shell, and today it mainly acts as brokerage infrastructure, letting more than 200 outside investing apps plug into stocks, options, and futures trading through its API.

Tradier does not hold client funds itself. It clears trades through Apex Clearing Corporation on a fully disclosed basis, and is registered with the SEC and in all 50 states plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico.

The FINRA record shows two final regulatory actions. In March 2026 FINRA censured and fined Tradier 75,000 dollars for reporting fewer than 20 customer complaints when it should have reported hundreds, tied to website problems and margin and options issues. In 2021 the SEC fined it 50,000 dollars for missing the deadline to deliver its Form CRS disclosure.
