TMGM began in Sydney in 2013 under the name TradeMax. Its main entity, Trademax Australia Limited, holds a real ASIC license. In 2024, ASIC issued a stop order against the firm for weak checks on new CFD clients. TMGM changed its onboarding process and the order was lifted a few weeks later.
Most clients outside Australia use TMGM companies in Vanuatu, Seychelles, or Mauritius instead, where leverage can reach 1 to 1000. TMGM offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, and the IRESS platform for shares. The standard account has spreads from 1.0 pips with no commission, and a commission based account starts from 0.0 pips. An inactivity fee of $30 a month applies after six months with no trades.
On Trustpilot, TMGM scores 3.9 out of 5 from hundreds of reviews, and most raters are happy. Independent forums show a real complaint pattern too. Traders report slow withdrawals, repeated document requests, and accounts suddenly switched to close only status.
