Pros
- Holds a real Category 2 license from Malta's MFSA regulator.
- Offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 next to its own TradeMaster platform.
- Says client money sits in segregated accounts with negative balance protection.
- Belongs to the EU Investor Compensation Fund for up to 20000 EUR per client.
- Has traded under the same Malta license since it was set up in 2013.
Cons
- Relies on just one regulator, with no tier one license anywhere.
- Runs a separate, far more lightly regulated Seychelles company too.
- A WikiFX field visit found no real office at its listed German address.
- Several independent review sites rate this broker as high risk.
- Needs 50000 dollars before EUR/USD spreads drop to about 0.9 pips.
- Lets clients trade at leverage up to 1:200 under professional status.
- Offers only a handful of basic articles, with little real education.
- Charges an inactivity fee on accounts that stop trading for a while.
Blue Suisse Limited is a small CFD broker run from Gozo, Malta. The Malta Financial Services Authority gave it a Category 2 license in 2013, and the firm still trades under that license today. It also runs a separate, more lightly regulated company in Seychelles for clients outside Europe.
The broker only offers CFDs on currencies, commodities, indices, and a few stocks. An account needs at least 500 dollars, and its advertised spread of about 0.9 pips on EUR/USD only applies to the top Sapphire Blue tier, which needs 50000 dollars. Standard leverage is 1:20, though clients with professional status can trade at much higher and riskier levels.
Trustpilot gives Blue Suisse a score near 3.3 out of 5 from only 19 reviews, too few for a solid picture. Independent broker review sites often rate it high risk, and a WikiFX field check found no real office behind the German address the firm lists. Its own pages even show two different loss percentages for CFD clients.
