Tastyfx is a forex brand for people who live in the United States. It started as IG US in 2019, when the British company IG Group entered the US market. In 2021, IG Group bought tastytrade, a well known US trading education and brokerage brand. In June 2024, IG US changed its name to tastyfx to match the wider tasty family of brands.
The broker offers spot forex trading with no commission on its standard account, where spreads start around 0.8 pips. A newer Zero+ account offers tighter raw spreads plus a separate commission. Traders can choose from the tastyfx app, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView, or ProRealTime, and can reach more than 80 currency pairs.
tastyfx LLC is registered with the CFTC as a Retail Foreign Exchange Dealer and Introducing Broker, and is an NFA Forex Dealer Member under ID 0509630. It only accepts US clients. A live Boost promotion running through August 2026 gives new customers a deposit match, though Ohio residents cannot join.
