SunbirdFX said it started trading around 2005 as an online CFD and forex broker. Its old site at sunbirdfx.com no longer opens, and Forex Peace Army now marks the company as out of business. The entity behind it, Sunbird Trading Limited, offered accounts in a dozen languages through MetaTrader and the Currenex platform.
In 2013, France's AMF added Sunbird Trading Limited to its blacklist for offering financial services without authorization. Forex Peace Army later reached three separate guilty verdicts against SunbirdFX in 2015 after client disputes, and found links between SunbirdFX and another scam operator, YouTradeFx, through shared domain records.
Dozens of client reviews describe the same pattern: an account manager who was friendly at first, then vanished once a withdrawal request went in. Some clients said staff demanded they delete negative reviews before any payout. Treat SunbirdFX, and anything reusing its name today, as a closed, high risk brand.
