Pros
- Once held a real FSP license number from South Africa's FSCA
- Ran on MetaTrader 5, a platform most traders already know well
- Kept a low fifty dollar minimum deposit while it was trading
- Let clients fund accounts with cards, bank transfer, or crypto
Cons
- Shut down completely in 2026 and now accepts no clients at all
- WikiFX rated its FSCA license status as exceeded and high risk
- Several traders reported denied payouts and slow withdrawals
- FSCA gives weaker protection than top tier regulators like the FCA
- Closed its SeacrestFunded prop trading challenges in February 2026
- A FastBull reviewer said spreads were much wider than advertised
Seacrest Markets grew out of a prop trading challenge business once called MyFundedFX. It later split into SeacrestFunded challenges and a CFD broker, Seacrest Markets PTY Ltd, registered in South Africa in 2023. That firm held FSP license 53315 from the FSCA, though WikiFX said its license status was exceeded, meaning it traded outside what was allowed.
While trading, Seacrest Markets used only MetaTrader 5, with Classic and ECN accounts. It listed forex, metals, energy, indices, and crypto CFDs, a fifty dollar minimum deposit, and leverage up to 1:500. Funding came by card, bank transfer, or crypto, plus a fee on accounts left inactive for ninety days.
Reviews on WikiFX and FastBull described denied payouts, wide spreads, and slow withdrawals before the end. SeacrestFunded closed its prop challenges in February 2026. By August 2026 its site carried just one notice, saying the company had shut down for good. Anyone owed money should keep records and contact support.
