About RockGlobal Securities

RockGlobal is the trading name of Rockfort Markets Limited, a company registered in New Zealand in 2015. Under its old name, Rockfort Markets, it held a derivative issuer licence from the FMA from 2018 and marketed forex and CFD trading through MT4 and MT5. It changed its trading name to RockGlobal in May 2023.

In July 2024, the FMA cancelled that licence. The regulator said Rockfort broke eight licence conditions, including a 2021 order to remove misleading adverts that claimed forex and share broking cover it never actually held. A new sole director took over the company weeks after the licence was cancelled.

Rockfort Markets Limited still exists as a registered New Zealand company, and the RockGlobal website still promotes forex, metals, and share trading through MT4 and MT5. It does not clearly state that its FMA licence is gone, and it talks about offshore clients using other licensed partners instead. Check the FMA register yourself before trusting any current sign up claim.
