Dmitry Rannev has been known in trading circles since 2003. He built the RannForex brand around 2013 as a low cost ECN service for scalpers and algorithmic traders. The brand now runs two linked sites. Rann.forex belongs to RannForex Limited, registered in Seychelles in 2023. Rannforex.com is run by Rann FS Limited, registered in Saint Lucia.
RannForex offers forex, metals, energy, indices, and crypto, mostly through MetaTrader 5. Its live site has shown EUR/USD spreads as low as 0.1 pips, leverage up to 1:500, and live accounts with no minimum deposit. The broker also publishes its own revenue and cost figures, which is rare in this industry.
Only the Seychelles firm holds a real license, FSA number SD151, an offshore license with far less protection than the FCA or ASIC give. WikiFX rates the broker just 4.36 out of 10 for trust. RannForex is active and taking new clients now, but the mixed entity setup and light regulation call for real caution.
