About OpoFinance

OpoFinance started trading in 2021 under the name Opoforex. In 2022, the watchdog site FinTelegram placed it on a Red Compliance list. FinTelegram said the firm sold CFDs across Europe with no valid license anywhere. Soon after, the brand changed its name to OpoFinance.

The broker now offers forex, metals, stocks, indices, and crypto CFDs through MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and TradingView. A Standard or ECN account needs $200 to open, while the ECN Plus tier needs $5,000. Leverage can reach 1:2000, but only through its offshore Seychelles entity, well above limits allowed in the UK or EU.

OpoFinance now holds a Seychelles FSA dealer license, a 2025 license from the South African FSCA, and an ASIC entry in Australia. That ASIC record only covers general advice, not real trading services. OpoFinance also claims that Financial Commission membership insures client funds up to 20,000 euros, a claim the Commission itself told FinTelegram was not true.
