About LQDFX

LQDFX started trading in 2015. It offered forex, metals, indices, and crypto on the MetaTrader 4 platform, with a low minimum deposit of just $20. The low cost drew traders in, but in 2019 several investors in a copy trading service called PAMM said they could not withdraw their money.

LQDFX never held a license from a real regulator. In December 2019, the US CFTC listed it on the RED list for taking US client money without registration. In November 2022, the UK FCA warned it was serving UK clients with no permission. It used shifting addresses, including the Marshall Islands, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Saint Lucia.

LQDFX stopped operating under its own name in 2024. Reports say the business was taken over and continued as PlexyTrade, with old clients moved to the new brand. That did not fix the core problem, since PlexyTrade is also unregulated and got its own FCA warning in 2025. Today the LQDFX website gives a server error and cannot be reached.
