Key to Markets started in London in 2010 as a forex and CFD broker. For many years it held a license from the FCA in the UK, a strong regulator. In October 2024, the FCA register changed the firm's status to no longer authorised, so that UK license no longer protects traders today.
Today the group trades mainly through Key To Markets International Limited, licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius, a much lighter regulator than the FCA. Traders use MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5, with ECN spreads from 0.0 pips and a minimum deposit near 100 dollars.
WikiFX, an independent broker tracking site, gives Key to Markets a low score and lists it under weak regulation, with some traders reporting denied withdrawals. Companies House still shows Key To Markets Limited as an active UK company, so the brand exists, but its regulatory protection is now much weaker than before.
