About Kenanga Futures

Kenanga Futures Sdn Bhd is a Malaysian futures broker registered in 1995. It is part of Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad, a bank listed on Bursa Malaysia. The company has held a top position in the local listed derivatives market since 2003 and runs 16 branches across Malaysia.

This is not a typical retail CFD broker. Clients trade real, exchange listed futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, the CME Group, and the Hong Kong Futures Exchange, using the KDF TradeActive platform on desktop and mobile. Kenanga Futures is a direct clearing member of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives and a CFTC registered broker in the United States.

Trading costs come from set commissions and exchange fees, not spreads or leverage figures typical CFD brokers quote. Under a former name, Kenanga Deutsche Futures, the firm faced a Securities Commission action over anti money laundering compliance in 2012. Today it operates under real, direct Securities Commission Malaysia and Bursa Malaysia oversight.
