InstaForex is a forex and CFD broker that started in 2007 and runs its main operations from Kaliningrad, Russia. The global brand's main company, InstaFinance Ltd, only holds an offshore license from the BVI FSC. A second company, Instant Trading EU Ltd, holds a real CySEC license, but only for EU clients.
You can open a Cent account with just $1, one of the lowest minimum deposits around. InstaForex offers MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, its own WebTrader, and a MultiTerminal tool, plus ForexCopy and PAMM for copy trading. Standard spreads are fixed and wider than many rivals, and deposit bonuses only pay out after a set trade volume.
On Trustpilot, InstaForex scores just 2.1 out of 5 from close to 500 reviews, and 44 percent leave only 1 star, often about slow or blocked withdrawals. In November 2024, Malaysia's Securities Commission added InstaForex to its investor alert list for unlicensed activity. Real oversight exists mainly through the small Cyprus arm.

InstaForex is one of the oldest forex brokers in the industry, founded in 2007 and serving over 7 million clients across more than 100 countries. The broker is particularly dominant in the CIS region (Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan) and Southeast Asia, where it has built a strong local presence with dedicated regional support teams.
The broker offers 300+ instruments across forex, metals, indices, futures, and CFDs, with a strong focus on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. InstaForex operates a unique Pips-based pricing model where all pairs are quoted with 4 decimal places, which can be confusing for traders accustomed to standard pip pricing.
InstaForex is regulated by the FSRA in the British Virgin Islands and CySEC for European clients. While the broker has faced some industry criticism over the years, it maintains a large and loyal client base and continues to win regional awards across Asia and CIS markets.
