Pros
- Long operating history in forex brokerage stretching back to 2011
- Current entity discloses a Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer license
- Raw spreads from 0.0 pips are advertised on MetaTrader 5
- Offers a FIX API alongside MetaTrader 5 for algorithmic traders
Cons
- The Bank of Russia lists its Vanuatu entity as an illegal operator
- The FXPIG brand now just redirects to FXIFY Markets instead
- Mauritius FSC gives lighter oversight than the FCA or ASIC
- Its regulatory entity has changed jurisdictions more than once
FXPIG has traded since 2011 under Prime Intermarket Group Asia Pacific Ltd, based in Vanuatu. It once held a Principal's License from the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission. In 2022, the Bank of Russia added this entity to its list of illegal securities market participants.
Today, fxpig.com redirects visitors straight to a sister brand called FXIFY Markets. Both sites disclose the same operator, Prime Intermarket Group Eurasia Ltd, which cites a Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer license, number GB21026537. The FXPIG name lives on mainly through this rebranded storefront and some older subdomains.
FXIFY Markets advertises a $200 minimum deposit, leverage up to 1:500, and raw spreads from 0.0 pips on MetaTrader 5 or a FIX API. Mauritius FSC oversight is real but far lighter than the FCA or ASIC, and the brand's Vanuatu history and Russian warning are worth remembering before funding an account.
