Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Was one of the longer running prop firms, in business from 2018 to 2024
  • Once offered large scaling plans for consistently profitable traders
  • Had a registered Cyprus company with a public registration number
  • Left a public Trustpilot history that traders can still read today

Cons

  • Shut down suddenly on March 4, 2024 and never reopened
  • Kept challenge fees from active traders instead of refunding them
  • Independent sites call the closure a planned exit scam, not an accident
  • Support channels went silent with no clear closing statement to traders
  • Its collapse lined up with a wider wave of MetaQuotes driven prop firm failures
About Fidelcrest

Fidelcrest was one of the earlier well known forex prop trading firms, founded in 2018 and run by Fidelcrest Ltd, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, company number HE413263. It sold evaluation challenges and let passing traders scale funded accounts up to large sizes over time.

On March 4, 2024, Fidelcrest suspended all operations, blaming the loss of its MetaQuotes license and liquidity provider. The firm first called this a short technical pause. It never resumed. Traders with active, paid for challenges were not refunded, and support went silent soon after.

Several independent trader sites, including Vetted Prop Firms, call this a planned exit scam rather than a genuine business failure, since Fidelcrest kept taking payments while it could no longer deliver a working service. This happened during the wider 2024 collapse of prop firms tied to MetaQuotes cutting off platform access. No relaunch or refund process has been confirmed since. Do not pay any site still using the Fidelcrest name.
