About DriveWealth

DriveWealth, LLC is a New York broker dealer formed in New Jersey in 2012 and approved by FINRA in 2013. It is owned by DriveWealth Holdings, Inc. and does not sell directly to individual traders. It licenses a brokerage API that lets banks and fintech apps add US stock investing to their products.

Partner apps built on DriveWealth give end users access to US equities, ETFs and fractional shares from 1 dollar, with account opening, identity checks, order execution and reporting handled in the background. DriveWealth says it supports over 100 partner platforms, so the real cost depends on the app used, not DriveWealth directly.

FINRA fined DriveWealth 100,000 dollars in June 2025 for failing to process 1,206 account transfer requests on time between 2020 and 2022. A separate 2025 case added a 1.1 million dollar fine after the firm let over 110,000 trades through during market halts and failed to send hundreds of millions of required trade reports to regulators.
