Darwinex is the trading name of Tradeslide Trading Tech Limited, a London company set up in 2012. The FCA authorised the firm in 2013. Two sister companies extend the brand into Spain, regulated by the CNMV, and the Seychelles, regulated by the FSA.
The broker mixes normal forex and CFD trading with a product called DARWINs. Each DARWIN turns a real trader track record into an asset investors can buy from around 50 EUR. A standard trading account needs about $500, with spreads from near 0.1 pips and leverage up to 1:30 for UK and EU retail clients. Traders can use MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, TradingView, NinjaTrader, or Interactive Brokers.
Client money for the UK and Spanish entities sits in segregated accounts, and the FSCS covers UK clients up to 85,000 GBP. The Seychelles entity offers leverage up to 1:200 but skips negative balance and deposit protection, so it carries far more risk. Darwinex does not accept live trading clients from the United States or Canada.
