Colmex Pro Ltd is a Cyprus investment firm based in Limassol. CySEC first licensed the company in 2010 under license number 123/10. It built its name on stock, ETF, and options trading for US markets, then later added forex and CFD trading.
Since January 30, 2026, Colmex Pro no longer opens CFD accounts for new clients, based on its own website. Existing forex and CFD clients can still trade, but new signups go into stocks, ETFs, and options instead. It does not accept clients from Canada, Iran, Japan, Myanmar, North Korea, or the United States.
CySEC has settled with Colmex Pro three times in under a decade. It fined the firm 100,000 euros in 2016, reached a 50,000 euro deal in 2019, then a 200,000 euro settlement in April 2025 over authorization and client protection rules. The firm also holds an FSCA license in South Africa and Investor Compensation Fund cover up to 20,000 euros per client.
