  • Old CedarFX terms allowed 1:500 leverage with just a $10 minimum deposit
About CedarFX

CedarFX was run by Cedar LLC out of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Its own terms page named only that jurisdiction, with no confirmed license from a real regulator. In June 2023, the US CFTC added CedarFX and Cedar LLC to its RED list, saying the firm was soliciting US customers while offering forex without CFTC registration.

On 6 October 2024, CedarFX stopped taking new signups. LHFX says existing CedarFX accounts, balances, and trade history moved over the following week, all on the same MetaTrader 5 platform. The old cedarfx.com address now sends visitors straight to lhfx.com.

Today, LHFX is run by Longhorn Ltd, which holds a Mauritius FSC Investment Dealer license, plus LHFX SA (PTY) Ltd, licensed by South Africa's FSCA. Anyone looking for the trading conditions once sold under the CedarFX name now needs to open an account with LHFX instead.
