About Cannon Trading

Cannon Trading Company was founded in 1988 in the Los Angeles area of California. It is one of the older independent futures brokerages still trading under its original name and ownership.

The firm works as an introducing broker. It brings in clients, then clears their futures and options trades through partner clearing firms such as StoneX, Dorman Trading, Ironbeam, and PhillipCapital. Traders can pick from more than ten platforms, including CannonX, Trade Navigator, CQG, MultiCharts, and MetaTrader 5, alongside broker assisted and algorithmic trading services.

Cannon Trading Company Inc. is an NFA member, NFA ID 216708, and is registered with the CFTC. New clients who fund an account with at least 1,000 dollars can get a lower per contract commission rate on CME micro and standard futures. Accounts can open with as little as 1,000 dollars, though day trading or bigger strategies often call for more.
