Accendo Markets is a London area CFD and spread betting firm, incorporated in England in 2007 and authorised by UK regulators since January 2008. It runs an execution only service and has won Best CFD Provider at the City of London Wealth Management Awards several years running, most recently in 2020.
Clients trade CFDs, spread bets, and spot forex through Traderoom, a white labelled version of CMC Markets NGEN platform, plus a mobile app. There is no set minimum deposit, and FX spreads start close to 1.7 pips on EUR/USD. The service only opens accounts for UK residents.
The FCA fined Accendo 56,000 pounds in 2012 for weak suitability checks and poor call monitoring on CFD advice given between 2008 and 2010. The FCA record also shows the firm cannot hold or control client money, a restriction in place since 2014. Its site content looks dated in places, with some pages last refreshed years ago.
