About The Trading Pit

The Trading Pit started in 2021 in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. Founder Illimar Mattus also helped start the regulated broker Tickmill. Daniela Egli is now CEO. In 2022 the firm raised 10 million euros from Mattus' own group, Pinorena Capital, to fund growth.

The Trading Pit does not hold client deposits like a normal broker. You pay a fee for a trading challenge on a demo balance. A pass can lead to a funded account with up to 80 percent profit share. A one step 50,000 dollar CFD challenge costs close to 349 dollars. Traders use MT4, MT5, cTrader, or Tradovate. The firm reports over 16 million dollars paid in rewards.

Like most prop trading firms, its challenge business has no financial regulator watching it. In 2026 the group opened a small, invite only brokerage called TTP Markets under a Seychelles FSA license. Independent reviews describe real payouts and helpful support, alongside a pattern of profitable traders losing accounts over unclear rules near a big payout.
