Skilled Funded Traders was a prop trading firm founded in 2023. It let traders pay for a challenge, then trade a funded account and keep a share of the profits. The brand was run by Easton Consulting Technologies, a Florida company that controlled more than a dozen similar trading platforms.
On March 28, 2024, Skilled Funded Traders suspended all operations, including new challenge purchases, on the same day as its sister brand The Funded Trader. Former co founder Riz Iqbal later said the shutdown followed a lack of transparency from Easton and problems moving trading to the cTrader and DXtrade platforms.
Before the shutdown, traders on social media and Trustpilot reported payout delays and worsening trading conditions. Easton Consulting Technologies has not said whether Skilled Funded Traders will reopen or pay any compensation to traders who were still owed money when it closed.
