Funded Engineer was a Dubai based prop trading firm that opened in 2023. It offered funded accounts from 6,000 to 300,000 dollars, with forex, commodities, indices, and crypto challenges, and built a large base of Trustpilot reviews before its collapse.
In February 2024, its technology partner FPFX Technologies ended their agreement after an internal audit. FPFX accused Funded Engineer of creating fake trading accounts, dodging anti money laundering checks, wash trading, and faking payout numbers, at a cost FPFX put near 700,000 dollars. A data leak also mixed up client phone numbers, emails, and home addresses.
On July 15, 2024, Funded Engineer announced a full, permanent shutdown of all client accounts and services. Its old domain today shows only a generic ad style landing page, not a working trading firm. Treat any current message or advert using this name with real suspicion.
