About Advanced Markets

Advanced Markets began in 2006 as a United States forex dealer member. Founder Anthony Brocco still leads the firm as CEO. Today the group works mainly with brokers, banks, and fund managers, not everyday retail traders, and says it is backed by BGC Group, a large financial firm.

Advanced Markets (UK) Ltd holds FCA reference number 777739, but this only covers clients who qualify as professional or eligible counterparty. Advanced Markets Ltd, based in the Cayman Islands, holds Australian ASIC license 444649 for wholesale clients only. In 2015, ASIC made the firm fix website wording that could have confused foreign clients about how far its Australian license protection actually reached.

There is no public retail account or minimum deposit, since Advanced Markets sells liquidity and execution technology, not simple trading accounts. Clients connect through FIX API, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or Fortex, usually via a prime brokerage or prime of prime credit line.
