NinjaTrader terminated its Evaluation Services Agreement with Alpha Futures on 12 July 2026, citing an outstanding balance of $225,700 that it said was more than three months overdue. Alpha Futures disputed the claim, describing the amount as credit linked to an earlier overcharge settlement.

What Happened to Premium Plan Traders?

The NinjaTrader-dependent Premium Plan closed. Alpha Futures refunded activation fees but did not honor payouts that were pending when access ended. Zero, Advanced and Direct accounts were migrated to AlphaTrader, the firm's own platform.

Two Conflicting Explanations

Alpha Futures said its monthly payments were current and argued that tension also involved the launch of AlphaTrader. NinjaTrader framed the matter as contractual non-payment. The dispute remains contested.

Traders absorbed a dispute they did not create

Whatever the correct invoice history, traders had no visibility into the vendor relationship and still lost pending payouts. That is the operational risk of building a core product on revocable third-party infrastructure.
