InvestFW Traders Report Pressure to Reinvest After the CySEC Licence Exit

InvestFW’s former operator paid a CySEC fine before leaving the regime; a customer review alleges pressure to reinvest rather than withdraw.

InvestFW’s former operator, Itrade Global Cy Limited, was fined €1 million by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission in April 2023. CySEC cited several compliance failures, including conflicts of interest involving a Spanish tied agent, weak controls for marketing material, inadequate risk information and shortcomings in product approval. The licence was later withdrawn after the company chose to renounce it in April 2025. The regulator’s notice describes a voluntary surrender, not a forced revocation for a new violation.

That chronology has been covered in our earlier report on Itrade Global’s fine and licence exit. This follow-up focuses on the customer-review record supplied for InvestFW. A Trustpilot snapshot cited in that material showed a 1.8 out of 5 rating from 23 reviews, with 70 percent rated one star. A review dated 21 April 2025, posted shortly before the formal licence withdrawal notice, alleges that profit targets were changed and that the reviewer was pressured to reinvest rather than withdraw available funds.

What the InvestFW Review Alleges

The reviewer says they made more than 100 recorded calls that they believe document the conduct of a manager, and says they filed a complaint with Portugal’s financial regulator, CMVM. BestForex.io has not independently reviewed those recordings, contacted the reviewer or verified the claimed regulator filing. The allegations are therefore presented as the customer’s account, not as an established finding against the company or any individual.

The distinction between the former regulated company and a brand is important. InvestFW, TradeFW and Tradedwell were consumer-facing names associated with Itrade Global’s Cyprus authorisation. The 2023 fine related to the legal entity and conduct identified by CySEC; it should not be described as a fine against every later website or business using a similar name. Likewise, a review appearing in 2025 does not establish which entity handled a particular account after the licence exit. The customer’s agreement, payment record and correspondence would be needed to identify the contracting party.

What Is Known—and What Is Not

The official record establishes the fine and the voluntary licence renunciation. It does not establish the truth of the later customer’s account or the current operator of any InvestFW-branded service. The cited review is a reason to ask questions, but the sample of 23 reviews is small and cannot by itself establish the experience of all clients. BestForex.io has not received a response from Itrade Global or an identified InvestFW operator for this article.

Consumers who have a dispute should retain the account agreement, trade statements, withdrawal requests and messages, and submit a formal complaint to the exact legal entity. The regulator and complaint body with jurisdiction depend on where the customer lives and which entity accepted the funds. Do not assume a historical CySEC licence still covers a present-day service simply because a brand continues to appear in search results.

A Former Licence Is Not Current Protection.

The one-million-euro fine and later licence renunciation are documented regulatory events. The reinvestment-pressure account is a reviewer’s allegation, not a regulator’s conclusion. Keeping those categories separate is essential, especially where the brand’s current ownership and the entity behind a customer’s contract have not been established.

Anyone considering an InvestFW-branded service should identify the legal counterparty, verify its current authorisation and get withdrawal terms in writing before depositing. If a dispute is already underway, preserve the records and use the complaint route tied to that entity.
