Admiral Markets AS confirmed in its unaudited first-half 2026 report that it voluntarily surrendered its Estonian investment-firm licence. Finantsinspektsioon approved the revocation effective 28 April 2026. The company says Estonian clients continue to be served cross-border by Cyprus-licensed Admirals Europe Ltd, while the Estonian entity now acts only as an internal liquidity provider.

Admiral Markets AS narrowed its first-half net loss to €2.6 million from €3.5 million a year earlier, but net trading income fell to €2.2 million from €4.1 million. Assets declined to €55.5 million and equity to €50.5 million. A smaller loss on a materially smaller operation is not the same as renewed growth.

Reported INFINOX Acquisition Talks

Finance Magnates reported in June that INFINOX was in advanced talks to acquire Admirals. No final transaction has been announced, and any deal would depend on definitive agreements and regulatory approval. The discussions follow Admirals' sale of its Australian business and exits from several other markets.

Why the Licence Consolidation Matters

A voluntary licence surrender is not automatically a red flag; groups often consolidate EU clients under one regulated entity. Here, however, it sits beside reduced activity and a potential sale process, making the account-holding entity and future licence coverage especially important for clients.

Each step has been disclosed, but together they show a group narrowing its footprint while a buyer examines the business. Existing clients should confirm which legal entity currently holds their account and monitor formal notices if ownership changes.
